Web Query in Excel

How to perform a web query in Excel:

  1. Click on data in the menu bar
  2. Go to ‘import external data’
  3. Click on ‘New Web Query…’
  4. A new dialog box appears
  5. Type the web address from where you can download the data.
  6. Select the table to import
  7. Click Import
  8. Select an appropriate Excel cell to start placing the imported data
  9. Save the file
  10. Now you can perform an analysis on the imported data
