Nested Loops and How to Run Macros

How to use nested loops and run macros in Excel. Nested loops are one of the most important things to learn in any programming language including Visual Basic for Applications or VBA. Here’s the VBA code to implement nested loops on two number matrices quickly and easily:

Sub calDiff()
Dim i As Long, j As Long

For i = 1 To 22
For j = 1 To 22
If Cells(1, i) – Cells(2, j) = 90 Then
Cells(5, i) = Cells(1, i)
Cells(6, j) = Cells(2, j)
End If
Next j

Next i
shiftData
End Sub

Sub shiftData()

Range(“K5:V5”).Select
Selection.Cut
Range(“A5”).Select
ActiveSheet.Paste
Range(“A7”).Select
End Sub
